DANCE YEAR 2011-2012 37 Weeks of Dancing From August 21 - June 10  16 weeks in Fall / Winter Break / 11 weeks in Winter / Spring Break /10 weeks in Spring   OUR MINI-KIDS CLASSES ARE A DANCE YEAR,  NOT A SESSION You sign up for classes 6 or 12 at a time.   PLEASE RSVP before you pay for a class.  Some of our classes are FULL but you will be put on a wait list & we will contact you in we open another class or a space becomes available. They will begin learning basic dance terminiology and gaining a sense of self through basic motor skills.  Do not feel the need to push your little one up to the Pre-Ballet level until they are ready; feel free to ask for your teacher's evalution after we work with them in dance class. What to Wear: Anything! Choose comfortable clothes for movement and they can dance in bare feet.  Leotards & ballet shoes are optional. Performance: This class only performs in the Spring performance. 11:05-11:35am BOYS ONLY 4-8 YEARS OLD HIP HOP / POP What makes Two Left Feet® classes special & different from other places? Parents may stay & watch class. We do not charge an additional "Registration" fee We take attendance for class so you don't have to pay for missed classes We include costuming in our enrollment fee so you won't get stuck with big end of session performance fees If you don't see a time that works for you, we can create a new class time for you & your little ones friends (minimum of 4) Please note we will open the class so others may join you Dress Code: We want your little on to be comfortable & dance. So if she doesn't feel like wearing a leotard to class, it's OK. Boys in Creative Movement class wear comfortable clothes. Music: We use a variety of Music for Class: from Classical to Disney to Pop Music. All music is age appropriate & mom friendly. Pre-Ballet, -Tap, -Jazz, -Pop: 3&3months-5yo Pre-Ballet, -Tap, -Jazz, -Pop: Your little one will get an exposure learning basic ballet, tap, jazz & pop dance movements & terminology. As your dancer gets older they will have an increased awareness & command of proper positioning of the feet and arms. They will dance to a variety of music, ranging from classical to Disney to Pop music. In our 30 minute classes they will dance 2 different styles ex:Tap & Pop and each class ends with a body movement skills exercise to keep dance fun & exciting! What to Wear: Leotards and ballet shoes are recommended but not required. Tap Shoes are recommended for Tap Days. Performance: 3-5yo dancers will have the opportunity to perform one choreographed routines in both our Fall & Spring Mini-Kids Performance. (December & May)

The entire school year August - June to use your credits Attendance:  If you miss a week for what ever reason, no problem, you won't lose the credit. She has completed the K-12 Dance Teaching Certification progam from Towson University in 2011. Her personal dance experience includes jazz, lyrical, modern, ballet, tap and ballroom.
