What dances will I learn? YOU
choose the dances you want to learn in these lessons. We can offer suggestion that reflect
the places you may want to dance and the style of music you like. Dances we teach: - Foxtrot – Waltz – Polka – Viennese Waltz – Disco – Swing - - Tango – Rumba – Bolero – Bosa Nova - - Salsa - Merengue – Mambo – Samba – Cha Cha Cha - What dances
are the most popular to learn? The dances that are most popular for you to use are
Foxtrot (Big Band and Sinatra sounds), Swing (Big Band to Rock ’n’ Roll to Alternative), Rumba (love songs), Cha Cha (upbeat dance music and
Santana sounds), Salsa (fast & fun Latin music on 99.1FM), Waltz (traditional partner dancing) and Tango
(romantic and dramatic dancing). How long will it take to be a good dancer? That
depends on you. If you give yourself 6 months to learn coming in at least once a week for lessons, you can learn 2 - 4 dances
with about 8 - 10 steps. You will feel more comfortable in social setting where there may be dancing. If you come in twice
a week, you will learn faster. Do you have Wedding 1st dance preparation classes?
Yes, we do. We have a three lesson special for your wedding first dance or anniversary dance. These
50 minute private lessons focus only on the dance or dances you want to learn. The dance you learn will depend on the music
you choose. See the “wedding” page link. What levels do you teach? We teach “Two Left Footed” beginners, as well as intermediate and advanced levels. Our focus is
on social dance and fun; we leave competition at the door. How do I get started? Call to set up an appointment. Ask for a complimentary introductory private lesson. During this lesson
you can get an orientation and meet with an instructor to talk about what you would like to accomplish with your lessons.
You will be able to view the studio, have a mini - introductory lesson and get to know your instructor. This time will also
be used to set up a schedule for your Private lessons and have your questions answered.
